A few years ago, my right hand got crushed in a metal bending machine at work. Now, I'm right-handed so that was a bit of a disaster for me. After a lot of resting and not using my hand and a lot of physical therapy, the bone and the muscles healed again and I regained use of my hand.
But when I do a lot of intense, intricate work with it, such as painting Warhammer figures, building models, drawing, working in the garden, when I'm cleaning the house and lately while I have my bird on my glove (this in particular worries me a lot), my hand starts to cramp and the pain starts.
Yesterday I did a lot of drawing and after a while my hand started to hurt again. Which forced me to stop

Fortunately for me, my aunt who lives next door, is a physical therapist. And she had just done a course on a new kind of tape to cure muscle injuries and muscle pain.
She has always had a lot of backpain, sometimes it is so bad she can't even bend to put her socks on. During the course, the students practised on each other, she decided to put the tape on her back to see if it would help her.
And it did, her backpain is gone. I know, this sounds a bit like one of those infomercials, who make you think how on earth you lived without ... (insert brand name of useless, only availbale if you call immediately, product).
The tape is called Cure Tape. It was discovered/developed by the Japanese. It increases bloodflow and metabolism in affected areas and promotes healing. You may have seen athletes wearing the tape, it is brightly coloured (blue, pink, black, red and so on) to distinguish it from other sports tapes.
Last night, my aunt suggested that I try the tape for my injured hand. She put it on and almost immediately, the pain went away. I could use my fingers again. I continued with the drawing, which will hopefully be finished and uploaded here this week.
So, for the next five days, my hand is covered in bright orange tape

thanks for your well wishes. My hand just needs some rest and then it'll be fine.
I'm hoping the drawing will be finished this week, I'll upload it as soon as it's finished.
All the best!
